It's Sunday!! You Need Manna. Come And Eat

How many are your works, oh Lord! In wisdom you made them all; the earth is full of your creatures Psalm 104:24.

Anytime I look at the mirror, i worship my marvelous Maker. Not only myself but all his creations. I’m not the first of God’s people to praise Him while admiring His unique creations. The writer of Psalm 104 sings of the Lord’s many works of art in nature (v. 24).

He regards

the sea, vast and spacious, teeming with creatures beyond number (v. 25) and rejoices in God for providing constant and complete care for His masterpieces (v. 27–31).

Considering the majesty of the God-given life around him, the psalmist bursts with worshipful gratitude:

I will sing to theLord all my life; I will sing praise to my God as long as I live (v. 33).

While reflecting on the Lord’s magnificent and immense creation, we can look closely at His intentional creativity and attention to detail.

And like the psalmist, we can sing to our Creator with thankful praise for how powerful, majestic, and loving He is and always will be. Hallelujah!!

Happy Sunday!!! from Davtechblog

Get Free 500mb Using MyMtn App

Hello my lovely blog readers,
I posted earlier about MTN introducing new night plan which seems to be unfavorable and heart breaking. So, today I'm gonna make you happy.

What is MyMtn App?

MyMtn is an app used to purchase airtime and data bundles, monitor data usage, and pay bills.

It isn't new because we used it to accumulate MBs last year and it's back again.

How to get the free 500mb

  • Firstly, download
Android Users --> MyMtn App here
IPhone users --> MyMtn App here
or text MyMtn to 5018 to get the link, then install.
  • Launch it and sign up with your mtn sim. Immediately, 500mb will be credited to your line.
  • Dial *559*4# to check your data balance.

Can i accumulate the mb?

Oops! I'm sorry for now you can't. I will figure out how to do that later. For now, you can get a lot of MBs by using multiple sim cards.

Beware!!! How To Know If Your Sdcard (memory card) Is Fake

Sdcard (memory card) is an amazing invention. It maybe as small as whatever but its capacity is mind-blowing. Sometimes it isn't.

Fake Sdcard is not exciting at all and it should not be appreciated among all. This is because it makes you lose vital data like pictures, videos, document, etc. Which are really heart breaking.

These fake sdcards are made and packaged in a way that is indistinguishable to buyers. They are given popular brand names like SanDisk, Samsung, Toshiba, etc. Alongside with the same design to trick people.

I can tell that most fake products are from China. Reason; There is one thing about Chinese Culture.
Copying isn't and has never been considered a bad thing. That explains why some of the best product imitations come from China.

1. Identification Using Its Graphics.

No matter how the imitations might be, it can't be like the original deal. Hence, graphics design of fake sdcards are always low. See picture below:

Note:The Left Sdcard is Original while the other is fake. I hope you can see the low graphics.

2. Using Sdcard Insight App

Most Fake sdcards have the ability to crack firmware in order to display false storage capacity. I might show 8gb meanwhile the original capacity is 2gb. To detect this, I introduce SDCard Insight

This powerful tool tells if your sdcard is valid or invalid. So hurry Download SDCard Insight App Here, lunch it and immediately it will give you everything you have to know above your sdcard.

If the inserted sdcard is valid, it will display it brand name, manufactured date, model, etc.

If it isn't valid, it will display the sdcard as invalid

Reasons Why High Heeled Shoes Are Bad For Your Health

If you’re among the many who can’t do without putting on a pair of uncomfortable high heels to feel confident.

Our focus today is the common issues women face by regularly subjecting their feet to high heels and its possible health risks.

Most of us agree heels look good on the ladies, the problem is with the damage it causes.

Every year the heels get narrower and higher with lesser support for users. The higher the heel, the more risk it poses.

The type of shoes we wear affect our legs, spine, waist, and hips as we grow older.
Below are some reasons wearing heels regularly is bad for your health

1. High heels could cause foot pain, weakness of the ligament, constricted blood vessels and sore calves.

2. Regular use of high heels eventually leads to lower back pain. This is because of the pressure on the lower back which causes the pelvis to move forward when standing or walking.

3. People who wear high heels for a long time develop distorted spines. The spine and toes adapt over time to the heels to gain balance.

4. While trying to maintain balance, the stress on the calves, back muscles and hips often leads to muscle cramps.

5. In some case the ‘big’ toes are put under chronic pressure, this leads to nail trauma, hammer toes or ingrown toenails.

6. Ladies who wear high heels have an increased risk of developing osteoarthritis (a chronic degenerative disease that affects the joints) later in life.

Hope these points are enough to make you give your feet a break and wear flats a few days of the week.

If you wear high heels frequently, below are some tips to help reduce the negative effects:

  • Exercise your lower muscles regularly.
  • Do yoga poses that that stretch the leg muscles.
  • Add cushioned inserts and heel grips.

If you found this Health tip useful, don’t forget to share with friends and family with the share icon below;

Anyway, this anonymous guy took lip injection which outcome is damn not pleasing to the eye as you can see it above

Lesson

Satisfaction is the key. If you have dark lips leave it that way. If someone insults you, come and tell me. Lol

What Happens To Your Brain When You Don't Use For Phone For A Week

First of all, can you think back to a time in your life before your smartphone entered the picture? Did you feel, act, or think differently? We thought so. Just like anything addictive, smartphones have a powerful hold on us, even if we don’t realize it. Smartphones and social media activate the same reward centers in our brains as sex, gambling, eating, exercise, and other things that feel good to us. A considerable amount of dopamine is released every time you come back for another “hit,” which explains why smartphone addiction is so hard to break.

In fact, according to a study published, Behavior and Social Networking, “Sudden cessation of online social networking may, in some chronic users, cause signs and symptoms that at least partially resemble the ones seen during drug/alcohol/nicotine abstinence syndrome.”

With that alarming bit of information in mind, consider this small study done at Capital City Academy (CCA) in London. Called the Disconnect project, researchers took a group of 15-year-olds from the school and quizzed them about their gaming and social media habits. Then, they asked them to give up their precious smartphones for a week. Half the class volunteered to use a basic flip phone for a week (not sure about the other half). How did they react, you ask?

“Initially the students were dismissive,” says Sally Llewellyn, a teacher at CCA. “But the more they considered it, the more interesting the prospect of disconnecting became. Once we started looking at what they’d done the previous week, and how much time they’d spent on their smartphones and games, they were horrified.”

social media hidden dangers

Some students voiced concerns about how they would fill their time, since both gaming and smartphones were off-limits. However, most of them found other things to do, and actually got enjoyment out of doing them. One teen said he read a book, and couldn’t remember the last time he did that. He also turned in his homework on time and spent more time with friends and family. Most of the participants reported going to bed earlier, as well.

Another student, Jason Badu, who wasn’t part of the project, said he observed that the volunteers seemed “freer. It gave them a sense of getting to know their strengths and limitations. When you have your phones it’s easy to forget this. When it was taken away they had to be like modern-day explorers.”

In the end, the students said the challenge was hard, but not impossible. They realized that the relationship they have with their smartphone is more compulsive than addictive. So, by taking it away, they learned new habits and ways of interacting with the world around them.

Final thoughts

We realize that smartphones have their place in the world, but they shouldn’t become your whole world. As long as you can set limits on your usage and have a life outside your phone, a smartphone probably won’t hinder you much. However, if you find that you spend more time on your phone than in the real world, you might want to take a vacation from your phone or consider giving it up, at least for a little while. There’s simply too much you miss out on in life if you keep your head glued to your phone all the time.

Unexpected Benefits Of Fasting Regularly

Now days, people run away from fasting just because of food without knowing the importance.

I as a person, David, I don't because i know Fasting has positive implications for conditions such as metabolic syndrome, type-2 diabetes, hypertension, and obesity. But there are other, lesser known benefits – ones less studied to date. As published studies on these benefits to humans are limited, you will need a healthy dose of optimism washed down with a glass of science to embrace these attributes. What I can share with you, is that I have seen them in my patients, experienced them in my own body, and know the science and animal studies which support what I say. Human studies will come, and many are all ready in the works. In the meantime, why wait to experience what so many already have learned for themselves. So come with me on a journey into scientific data, if not human-studied fact.

The first unexpected benefit of fasting is improved cognition and mood! In studies performed on mice, the researchers noted improved memory––short and long-term––as a result of fasting. They also noted improved motor coordination and the creation of new nerve cells, a process known as neurogenesis.

But what about us humans? First my own tale: as I arrive at the fifth day (the final day) of the fasting-mimicking diet, I feel fantastic. My cognition is crystal clear, my reasoning is sharp and my memory is fabulous. I feel like my mind has been supercharged in a fantastic way. I don’t have any cognitive issues (that I’m aware of!), yet on ProLon, the fasting-mimicking diet, my brain, quite simply, feels smarter! In my patients, this feeling of mental sharpness may be delayed until the fasting mimicking diet has been done about three times. I mention this, as I don’t want you to give up if you feel your same foggy-brained self after one or two times of doing the fasting-mimicking diet. For some, the brain needs some for the cognitive benefits to manifest. Perhaps the brain needs a little more time to heal …
  so be a little patient.

For my patients who’ve stayed with the program and have done ProLon multiple times, they feel as I do––super smart on day five––and beyond. Though the super-smart label may fade a bit, you’re likely to stay more on your game, and maintain your youthful mojo! I recommend that most healthy adults from age 21 onwards, who qualify, do ProLon regularly ( anywhere from 2-4 times annually) for many reasons, but most importantly, for the nurturing of their amazing brain health. For those with specific problems, the frequency of use of ProLon can be as often as monthly.

More surprising facts and benefits on fasting will be coming regularly to you. The world of fasting yields so many advantages beyond reducing diabetes and metabolic dysfunction, that your life will never be the same again, and as with me, fasting (or the fasting mimicking diet) will become an integral part of your life––and your life will be a thousand times better for it.

Staying Late At Night Can Make You Die Young

A new research has warned that those who sleep late at night risk dying younger than those who rise and set with the Sun.

Although, sleeping late at night can be due to some works at hand or rather surfing the internet (especially those who do the night subscription) but it should be minimal

The study of almost 500,000 people by the University of Surrey and Northwestern University, Chicago, is the first to assess overall mortality risk on the two distinct types of people.

And, adjusting for expected health problems in the late nighters, the results showed 50,000 people were more likely to die in the six-and-a-half year study sample.

Night owls also had higher rates of diabetes, psychological and neurological disorders.

The findings have led to calls for bosses to be more flexible with the start and finish time for workers depending on what time of day they function best. Kristen Knutson, associate professor of neurology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, said:

Night owls trying to live in a morning lark world may have health consequences for their bodies.
It could be that people who are up late have an internal biological clock that doesn’t match their external environment.
It could be psychological stress, eating at the wrong time for their body, not exercising enough, not sleeping enough, being awake at night by yourself, maybe drug or alcohol use.
There are a whole variety of unhealthy behaviours related to being up late in the dark by yourself.
You’re not doomed. Part of it you don’t have any control over and part of it you might.

Previous research has shown those who stay up late have higher rates of metabolic problems and heart disease.

And the switch to summer time is known to be more difficult for those who like to stay up late with reports of higher incidence of heart attacks.

Latest research in which scientists asked 433,268 participants aged between 38 and 73 if they were a definite morning type, a moderate morning type, a moderate evening type, or a definite evening type, suggests genetics and environment play equal roles in whether someone prefers the mornings or late nights.

But findings published in the journal Chronobiology International warn it is crucial to be exposed to light early in the morning, but not at night, and to keep a regular bedtime.

Malcolm von Schantz, Professor of Chronobiology at the University of Surrey, said:

This is a public health issue that can no longer be ignored. We should discuss allowing evening types to start and finish work later, where practical.
And we need more research about how we can help evening types cope with the higher effort of keeping their body clock in synchrony with sun time.

A previous study suggested daytime dozing presents a fatal danger after scientists found a “significant association” between napping and hypertension.

They said it can increase blood pressure by almost a fifth. Left untreated high blood pressure raises the odds of heart attack, heart failure, kidney disease, stroke and dementia.

Some 16million Britons suffer with high blood pressure, a condition known as the “silent killer” because there are no obvious symptoms.

Sleep specialists at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, found napping for longer than 30 minutes increased the chances of hypertension between 13-19 per cent. The risk is highest in those aged between 40-50.

Experts think napping could disrupt the body’s internal clock that controls blood pressure so day-night or circadian rhythms of biological factors associated with napping may be a mechanism for the increased risk of hypertension.

More than 5m people in the UK are unaware they have high blood pressure, defined as over 140/90mmHg.

The condition affects one in three adults with those aged 65 and over most at danger.

Short sleep, defined as less than seven hours, and long sleep, more than eight hours, are associated with increased mortality.

What You Should Know About Appendicitis

Most of us have experienced tummy troubles like diarrhoea and constipation at one time or the other. Unlike common tummy troubles, appendicitis is a condition that can become life-threatening if not properly managed.

Appendicitis is an inflammation of the appendix. It occurs when the opening from the appendix becomes blocked and bacteria infects the wall of the appendix.

The blockage is usually caused by thick mucus or stool that hardens and covers the appendix opening. Sometimes the blockage is caused by the lymphatic tissue of the appendix swelling.

About 5% of people end up with appendicitis, this makes quickly identifying this condition essential.

What are the signs and symptoms of appendicitis?

The most common signs and symptoms of appendicitis in children and adults include a loss of appetite, pain around the bellybutton, abdominal tenderness, abdominal pain, constipation, nausea, vomiting, and fever.

Initial signs and symptoms of appendicitis are not severe, they include nausea and/or a loss of appetite. A progression of the condition eventually leads to the main symptom, abdominal pain.

The initial pain caused by appendicitis is not confined to one spot and is usually indicated by sufferers with a curricular motion of their hand around the central abdominal area. With time the pain becomes localized on the right side of the abdomen and patients can point to the exact location of the pain.

The second symptom of appendicitis is a loss of appetite that sometimes progresses to nausea and vomiting.

Diagnosing Appendicitis

As with other illness, the doctor will check your medical records, ask for symptoms experienced and perform required physical examinations.

Patients usually have elevated body temperature and severe tenderness in the right lower abdomen.

Blood test, urine test, and imaging test may also be required by the doctor to confirm the diagnosis.

If the patient's pain is caused by appendicitis that requires surgery or further intensive treatment, then the patient will be referred to a surgeon. The surgeon will also determine whether the treatment provided is adequate with antibiotics or requires surgical procedures.

Symptoms a of Diabetes

Diabetes, often referred to by doctors as diabetes mellitus, describes a group of metabolic diseases in which the person has high blood glucose (blood sugar), either because insulin production is inadequate, or because the body's cells do not respond properly to insulin, or both. Patients with high blood sugar will typically experience frequent urination, they will become increasingly thirsty and hungry.

Diabetes is due to either the pancreas not producing enough insulin or the cells of the body not responding properly to the insulin produced. There are three main types of diabetes mellitus:

Type 1 results from the pancreas's failure to produce enough insulin. This form was previously referred to as "insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus" (IDDM) or "juvenile diabetes".

Type 2 begins with insulin resistance, a condition in which cells fail to respond to insulin properly. As the disease progresses a lack of insulin may also develop. This form was previously referred to as "non insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus" (NIDDM) or "adult-onset diabetes". The primary cause is excessive body weight and not enough exercise.

Gestational diabetes is the third main form and occurs when pregnant women without a previous history of diabetes develop high blood-sugar levels

There are no definite signs of diabetes. It simply varies from person to person. In many of the cases it goes unnoticed. Some signs to watch out for are listed below:

Sudden weight loss:

You might experience a sudden weight loss of 5 to10 kgs within a month. This happens when sugar metabolism ceases very quickly. Insufficient insulin prevents the body from taking in glucose in the body cells from the blood to use as energy. In such a scenario the body starts burning fat and muscle for energy. This results in weight loss.

Intense hunger:

The cells in your body might not get enough energy either due to absence or improper functioning of insulin in your blood. This makes you hungry quite often.

Excessive urination and thirst:

Due to diabetes, the glucose level in the body goes up. The kidneys are overloaded with the burden of working overtime for filtering and absorbing the excess glucose in your body. The excess sugar, which the kidney cannot store is excreted out of your body. This makes you urinate frequently. Due to frequent urination the body gets dehydrated which makes you feel thirsty more often.

Blurred vision:

Due to the high level of glucose in your body tissues gets pulled away from the lens of the eyes. This results in vision issues. If not treated on time, it may even lead to blindness.

Increased fatigue:

The cells in your body might not get enough energy either due to absence or improper functioning of insulin in your blood. This makes you restless more often and you may even feel too weak to do your regular activities.

If you notice any of these signs, get the level of sugar in your checked and take the required remedies. It is good to get it treated as early as possible rather than facing immense trouble in future.

Common Causes Of Infertility

Infertility is the inability of a Couple to achieve conception (pregnancy) after one full year of regular, unprotected, penetrative, vaginal sexual intercourse.

We urge couples who are unable to conceive after a year to consult a specialist.

It is however essential for couples who want conceive to have sexual intercourse regularly, at-least thrice weekly, especially around the time of the menstrual cycle when the woman ovulates.

Here are the top 5 causes of infertility and possible remedies

1. Fibroids

Fibroids are noncancerous growths in and around the uterus area. The growth of fibroids causes infertility by blocking the fallopian tubes and reducing the number of sperm that enters the uterus.

The presence of fibroids is usually diagnosed with a pelvic ultrasound; two in three women with fibroids don't experience symptoms.

Some symptoms of fibroid growth include abdominal pain, painful periods and pain during sex, etc
Infertility caused by fibroid is usually resolved through surgery (myomectomy).

2. Sperm Count

Also known as sperm concentration, a normal sperm count is at least 15 million sperm cells per 1mL of semen. Sperm count less than this decreases the possibility of any sperm cells reaching the woman's egg in the fallopian tubes from the vagina where they are ejaculated, and the condition is called oligospermia (low sperm count). Wearing of tight underwear (boxers) increases the temperature of the scrotum which can negatively affect sperm production, leading to low sperm count.

Sometimes, there may be no single sperm cell in the man's ejaculate, a condition called azoospermia.

3. Erectile dysfunction

When a man is unable to attain or maintain an erection, whether, for psychological or physical reasons, he won’t be able to have regular or proper intercourse.

Erectile dysfunction can be caused by psychological factors (stress or depression, medical conditions ( eg. Diabetes) and age.

Treatment of Erectile dysfunction can involve undertaking lifestyle changes, surgery or medications.

4. Endometriosis

Endometriosis is a cause of infertility in women where normal uterine tissue grows outside the uterus. The main symptom of endometriosis is pelvic pain, often associated with severe menstrual cramps.

Women diagnosed with Endometriosis undergo Laparoscopy( a minor surgical procedure for treating Endometriosis).

5. Ovulation Disorders

An ovulation disorder is any condition that affects the normal ovulation process, which is necessary in order to conceive.

Most women ovulate every 21 to 35 days. This is when there is no ovulation at all (anovulation) or the ovulation cycle is more than 35 days (oligo-ovulation). Medical therapy is often required for ovulation disorders.

How To Identify Foods That Cause Bloating

Having a perfectly flat stomach all the time just isn’t normal, a little ‘bump’ is unavoidable every single day.

While most people don't like how it looks, it is sometimes a cause of physical discomfort.

Bloating is when your belly feels swollen or enlarged after eating. It is usually caused by natural processes during digestion and is typically triggered by the accumulation of fluid or production of gas in the body.

While there are the usual suspects, most people regularly eat some of the most unsuspecting foods that cause bloating.
Below are some foods that can cause bloating and abdominal discomfort:

1. Dairy Products

Dairy products like milk, cheese, yogurt and butter are highly nutritious, as well as an excellent source of protein and calcium.

However, a large portion of the world’s population can’t break down lactose, the sugar found in milk.

This condition is known as lactose intolerance. If you’re lactose intolerant, dairy can cause major digestive problems. Symptoms include bloating, gas, cramping and diarrhea

2. Beans

Beans contain sugars called alpha-galactosides, which belong to a group of carbs called FODMAPs.

FODMAPs escape digestion and get fermented by gut bacteria producing gas as a by-product.

This causes discomfort, with symptoms like bloating, flatulence, and diarrhea for some people.

Soaking beans and changing the soaking water several times is a good way to reduce the FODMAPs in beans

3. Beer

Beer is a carbonated beverage made from sources of fermented carbs like barley, maize, wheat and rice, along with some yeast and water.
It contains both gas (carbon dioxide) and fermented carbs, two well-known causes of bloating

4. Carbonated Drinks

Carbonated drinks can cause bloating, due to the high amounts of carbon dioxide they contain. When you consume carbonated drinks , you end up swallowing large amounts of this gas.

Some of the gas gets trapped in the digestive system, and can cause uncomfortable bloating and even cramping

5. Sweeteners

Sweeteners can also cause gas and bloating. Sorbitol, an artificial sweetener, can’t be digested.

Fructose, a natural sugar added to many processed foods, is difficult for many people to digest.

To avoid bloating, watch the sweeteners in the foods you eat and limit the amount you consume.

How To Know The Signs And Symptoms Of Tuberculosis

Tuberculosis, TB, is an infectious disease caused by the bacterial organism called Mycobacterium tuberculosis. It is one of the commonest infectious diseases in developing parts of the world like Nigeria.

It is highly likely it could be tuberculosis if you're having a combination of the following:

1. A cough that has lasted for about three months, in which you cough out sputum that, depending on how long you have been infected, contains blood.

2. You have significantly lost weight in the last 3 months or more since the cough started

3. You have been sweating terribly at night since the cough started, that even your bedspread becomes soaked as if water was poured on it.

4. You have been having a fever that is not really high and which comes and goes.

5. Before you had this cough that has lasted for about 3 months, you came in contact with somebody who was coughing seriously. Or you were in a prison for some time or lived in a homeless shelter like internally displaced persons camp. In addition, if you traveled to and returned from an area or region where there's TB outbreak/endemic.

6. If you have been treated for tuberculosis in the past, it is likely it is reoccurring due to reactivation of some of the latent bacteria that couldn't be eradicated by the anti-TB drugs. Also, if you're HIV-positive, there's a chance that you might have TB because HIV makes the body vulnerable to other infections.
